Mikado is Nanashi's older cousin and one of the main characters in the RPG game 1bitheart, made by Miwashiba. He is the one who created the Master Program using his own custom programming language. He has the habit of writing notes on his body.
Mikado is shown to have light green hair. His bangs cover his right eye. Mikado's eyes are pink, like Nanashi's. Numbers written in red ink cover most of his body (Which are the aforementioned notes written on his body.) He wears a white shirt and a dark blue coat with light green lining over it. He wears a striped belt and dark blue pants and shoes. Draped over his shoulders is a long jacket that is blue and gradients to a lighter shade.
Mikado focuses on his work most of the time. Unable to concentrate if his higher ups yell at him, he sometimes does his work at home. He is shown to be calm and level headed most of the time, acting mature in most situations. Misane comments that he and Nanashi are alike.
In the beginning of the story, he is introduced as Nanashi's older cousin, and the one who suggested that Nanashi come live with him. He is also the creator of the Master Program. He gives off the image of a typical, calm older brother type.
However, in Chapter 3, he is revealed to also be from the future like Misane and is the leader of the hackers.
He is also revealed to be Nanashi's future self.

In the Bad End, Nanashi ends up strangling Mikado in the appearance of Nanashi's future self to death.
She is a fellow time traveler. She has seen him in the future before, but she doesn't remember, or claims, to not know much of him. In Chapter 3, she becomes very suspicious of Mikado and directly asked him if he's associated with the Hackers in some way.
